- 8mm twin-wall polycarbonate — warmer than glass, and it does not shatter
- Roof vents on automatic openers, no electricity needed
- Cedar benches slatted so water runs through
- Double doors wide enough for a wheelbarrow
Twin-wall polycarbonate beats glass for a working greenhouse. It holds heat better, diffuses light so nothing scorches, and does not turn into a hazard when a branch comes down on it.
The vents matter more than anything else. A greenhouse without enough ventilation cooks its contents on the first hot day in May — ours come with two automatic roof vents as standard, and we will fit more if you are growing anything demanding.
